Walk-in services

We have limited daily walk-in appointments throughout the week during our clinic opening times. Our walk-in appointments are allocated by a member of the nursing team based on urgent clinical need and do fill up quickly—we can only see a limited number of walk in patients per day so please do arrive early.

One of our staff will always have a confidential discussion with you (triage) if you feel you need to be seen the same day for any reason.

For patients with urgent needs

Please walk in during our opening times if any of the below apply to you and we will do our best to see you the same day:

  • I need Post-Exposure Prophylaxis for HIV (PEP)
  • I need emergency hormonal contraception (EC)
  • I have been sexually assaulted
  • I have been asked to return for treatment for an STI (if we diagnose you with an infection we will always try to call you and pre-book an appointment)
  • A sexual partner has informed me that they have an STI and that I need testing/treatment
  • I am under 18

For all other patients

If you have any symptoms or think something is wrong we will always have a confidential discussion with you (triage) if you feel you need to be seen the same day for any reason.

Please however bear in mind our walk-in appointment slots are allocated by a member of the nursing team based solely on clinical need.

Please note that if we do not consider your problem as urgent we may book you an appointment for another day or redirect you to another service who can help.

If you do not have any symptoms

Sexual Health London is a new online sexual health service for people without symptoms. If you do not have any symptoms and have not knowingly been in contact sexually with someone with an infection, just register and complete the online consultation. If the service is right for you, a free kit will be posted out so you can collect your samples and return them for testing. The results will be available  in a few days.
