Imaging Services

Imaging Services offer the following services for adults and children:

Comprehensive range of general X-ray procedures, including a dedicated trauma unit
Ultrasound services which also support the Obstetrics Department, Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU) and Assisted Conception Unit (ACU).
Examinations of the gastrointestinal system
CT, MRI, angiography and interventional procedures (available through the appropriate specialty, rather than a direct access service)
Radionuclide imaging studies
Nuclear medicine
Bone densitometry studies (DEXA scanning)
