Psychology service (child and adolescent)
Our consultants provide paediatric psychology services for all children who are being treated at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, as well as their parents, siblings and carers.
The service provides support for children at all stages of their treatment, from preparing for procedures through to managing their illness including emotional adjustment, adherence to treatment and pain management.
The team also provides support after traumatic events, coping with bereavement and help with feeding, sleeping and toileting difficulties.
