Professional expertise

  • Mr Collier has a specific interest in the correction of craniomaxillofacial deformity in both adults and children as part of the craniofacial team. This includes surgery for congenital conditions
  • facial trauma and reconstruction following skin cancer as well as complex oral and dentoalveolar surgery in children and adults.

Profile

Mr Collier is qualified in both medicine (Cambridge & Oxford Universities) and dentistry (Queen Mary University London). He was awarded the Gold Medal in the Membership examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of England followed by Fellowship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) in 2010. He is on the specialist register for OMFS (General Medical Council) and oral surgery (General Dental Council). Mr Collier has a strong interest in teaching and research. After completing a PhD in cancer immunology from Queen Mary University London for which he won a number of national research grants and prizes. Since then he has gone on to collaborate with a number of centres focussing on multi-centre studies to evaluate technologies for patient benefit. Mr Collier is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and lectures on a wide range of subjects including advanced dental implantology, non-surgical rejuvenation and facial trauma care.
