Tom Newsom-Davis is a consultant in medical oncology at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital where he specialises in thoracic malignancies. He set up and leads the Chelsea and Westminster Acute Oncology Unit and chairs the London Cancer Alliance Acute Oncology Group. Dr Newsom-Davis has an active clinical trials portfolio for both the National Cancer Research Network and commercial lung cancer studies. He is Divisional Lead for Research at Chelsea and Westminster, and is a member of the National Cancer Research Institute’s lung cancer clinical study group. Dr Newsom-Davis has led a number of acute oncology research projects, including the development an acute oncology eLearning course and an app. He has presented his work at a national and international level, and has been an invited lecturer for various organisations including the Royal College of Physicians, British Medical Association and the Association of Cancer Physicians.
