Profile
Dr Mina Savvidou qualified in 1992. After graduating from Aristotles Medical University in Greece, she spent all her working life as a doctor in the UK. She completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as a trainee in North West Thames in London. She was awarded a Membership at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1998 and obtained her MD degree from the University of London in 2004. Dr Savvidou sought a further sub-specialisation in Feto-maternal Medicine at King's College Hospital, London and entered the specialist list in Feto-maternal Medicine, receiving her Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2007. She has recently been promoted to Professor of Practice (Neonatal Medicine) in the annual round of academic promotions at Imperial College London.
