Profile

Dr Stewart is a paediatrician available to consult on a full range of conditions affecting children from birth to 16 years, including feeding problems, reflux, headaches, wheeze, coughs, rashes, constipation, injuries, other sport related problems and all acute or infective presentations. Dr Stewart is the service director for Paediatric Emergency at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust which manages over 60,000 acute presentations across 2 sites. He is also lead for undergraduate education, procedural sedation and is an instructor for resuscitation and simulation. Dr Stewart attended St Andrews and Cardiff Universities, graduating in 1997, where he won the prize for Paediatrics and placed first in selection for the All Wales Training Scheme. His training has covered a broad range of specialities including neurology, cardiology, renal medicine, gastroenterology, general paediatrics, intensive care, sports and emergency medicine. He completed fellowships in the world renowned Toronto Hospital for Sick Children and Westmead Children's Hospital in Sydney where he completed over 100 airborne retrievals. Dr Stewart is an honorary senior Lecturer at Imperial College where he won the Teaching Excellence Award, 2014. He is regularly invited to deliver lectures at symposia and is published extensively in a wide range of topics including bronchiolitis, gastroenterology, service quality, injuries and activity levels in children with diabetes.
