Patient Services
Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity
Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity is the NHS charity for Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. The Charity raises funds to help save lives, develop treatments, purchase equipment, fund research and improve healthcare for hospital patients and within the surrounding communities. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, the Charity has been able to support the hospital by funding many projects including:
- Pharmacy robot
- Neonatal incubators
- Services for stroke victims
- Fellowships
The Charity’s Hospital Arts team curates Chelsea and Westminster Hospital’s art collection, which in 2010 was awarded museum status by the Museums Libraries and Archives Council (MLA)—the first UK hospital to be recognised in this way. The collection can be viewed by patients, staff and visitors free of charge, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and weekly performing arts performances arranged by the Charity are free and open to all. Our activities at the hospital are made possible by the financial support of our donors.
After quality care and a great experience at Chelsea and Westminster, if your patients ask if they can do more, please consider telling them about the Health Charity. We’d welcome the opportunity to talk to them (and to you) about how we can work together.
