We aim to be a hospital of choice for patients and GPs and an employer of choice for staff. Our vision is to provide high quality patient-centred care for our local population and those using our specialist services, delivered by a modern workforce in a range of settings along integrated pathways of care.

We use the latest technology to help provide the best possible care for patients—for example, texting reminders to patients in order to reduce the number of missed appointments and improving our website, which has more than 40,000 visits a month.

Most of our services are provided at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. However, our HIV and sexual health services are based at not only the hospital but also 56 Dean Street in Soho, and the West London Centre for Sexual Health at Charing Cross Hospital.

Increasingly, we are providing community-based services—for example, we have won competitive tendering exercises to provide community dermatology services in not only Westminster but also Kensington and Chelsea—as healthcare changes.

We aim to work in partnership with GPs to provide the best possible care for patients, for example through the opening of our Urgent Care Centre in 2010.
