Staff survey shows Trust is a great place to work or receive treatment

The results of the NHS National Staff Survey 2015 show that many staff at both Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital  would recommend the Trust as a place to work or receive treatment.

Chelsea and Westminster and West Mid undertook the NHS National Staff Survey 2015 as two separate organisations. There are 32 ‘key findings’ and a measure of overall staff engagement.

The response rate was 51% at C&W and 48% at West Mid, an increase on last year, when it was 49% and 36% respectively. C&W’s response rate is in the top 20% for acute trusts and West Mid is above average.

Both hospitals rate above average on overall staff engagement and for staff recommending the trust as a place to work or receive treatment. Both C&W and West Mid also rank highly (over 70%) on the ability of staff to contribute towards improvement at work. Overall, the staff engagement score is better than average when compared to other acute trusts.
