Media enquiries

The Trust press office is the first port of call for enquiries from members of the press and media. Please note that only urgent, time sensitive issues directly about the Trust will be considered out of hours.

We are responsible for ensuring whenever patients are photographed, filmed or interviewed, there is full written consent to do so. If wishing to speak to one of our staff please contact us first.  We also authorise all media filming on our sites (filming at weekends is only permitted in rare instances) so please call us in the first instance.

If you would like to film part of a documentary, programme or series, please contact the press office to discuss feasibility.

We ask those selling goods or services to email, and to only follow up by email.

Thank you.

We are not normally able to agree film or photography requests, or to comment on wider stories out-of-hours. Please email chelwest.comms@nhs.net and your request will be picked up during office hours.

If you are not a member of the media, please do not call this number, as we will not be able to assist you.

Filming requests

All filming and photography requests should be directed to the Communications team in the first instance. Unless agreed otherwise, film crews and photographers must be accompanied by a member of the Communications team at all times. In most cases we charge fees for filming on our premises.
