Staff at West Middlesex University Hospital are inviting the local community to come and discover more about the great work they do at their annual public open day on Saturday, September 24 between 11.00am and 3.00pm.

There will be a variety of activities and entertainment suitable for all ages throughout the day including live music, behind the scenes tours, health checks and advice, food and drink, fun quizzes and stalls representing the range of services the hospital provides. The ever popular Childrens’ Zone, run by the paediatric team, will also be there to amuse and educate the youngsters.

The theme of this year’s open day is recruitment with the hospital looking to recruit qualified band 5 nurses with on-the-day interviews and assessments available.

Aibhin Burke has worked as a nurse at the hospital for over 11 years and is now helping recruit new nurses: “West Mid is a really friendly place to work. We are in a great location near to lots of local attractions and a short journey from central London. If you come to work here as a nurse we can offer you lots of career development opportunities and you will enjoy working as part of a great hospital.”

The open day is set to be lots of fun for everyone. Entry is completely free and there will be plenty of free parking available too. We hope to see you there!
