Members are invited to diabetes talk at West Middlesex University Hospital

Foundation Trust members are invited to learn about diabetes at an upcoming health education event hosted by clinicians at West Middlesex University Hospital. Incidence of diabetes is relatively high in Hounslow and Richmond—with 1 in 5 of the hospital’s inpatients patients having the condition—making education essential in preventing the onset of type 2 diabetes.

Foundation Trust members are invited to learn about diabetes at an upcoming health education event hosted by clinicians at West Middlesex University Hospital. Incidence of diabetes is relatively high in Hounslow and Richmond—with 1 in 5 of the hospital’s inpatients patients having the condition—making education essential in preventing the onset of type 2 diabetes.

The talk, entitled Diabetes: Introduction and update, will provide members with an opportunity to hear expert medical advice from consultant endocrinologist Dr Rashmi Kaushal and colleagues about the condition which affects 3.5 million people in the UK.

This talk is part of the ‘Your Health’ series of health education talks especially for Foundation Trust members. The event takes place on:
