Libby McManus, Chief Executive, said: “These are exciting times at Chelsea and Westminster. We are building a brand new A&E department, which will be the most state of the art emergency service in the UK, and have made some major investments to services including our birthing unit that provides mothers with greater choice on how they give birth.

“At the same time we are using the comprehensive feedback we received from the Care Quality Commission last year in order to improve our services in response to our disappointing ‘Requires Improvement rating. But that feedback, alone, is not enough – and that’s where you can help. If you have experienced care at our hospital, and had a good or bad experience, we want to hear about it and learn from it.

“This is a pivotal time in the history of this hospital as we look to merge with the West Middlesex University Hospital. We are really excited about the patient and staff benefits that would be achieved by becoming one organisation but want to hear your views as part of our membership about this important, proposed change.

“We encourage people to come along and give their view, in the confidence that improvements will happen as a result.”

There will be a constituency meeting in every borough that has representation on the Council of Governors.
