The 2015 Rugby World Cup takes place from 18 September to 31 October.

Ten of the tournament's matches will be staged at Twickenham Stadium—just 1.5 miles from the hospital—including the final match. All of these ten matches take place on Saturday's or Sunday’s—except the first on Friday 18 September (8pm kick off).

In addition there are two international matches matches taking place at Twickenham on Saturday 15 August (8pm kick off) and on Saturday 5 September (2:30pm kick off) which will be used to trial the transport arrangements for the Rugby World Cup.

There will be local road closures and diversions in place several hours before and after the matches.

There will be minimal disruption to our services—for example emergency ambulances will still be able to reach the hospital, and our community midwives (please speak to your midwife if you have any queries or concerns) and patient transport will have special passes if required. Please note that the matches are on weekends so will not affect routine hospital appointments.
