Invitation to help improve health in London

27 June 2014

On Monday 7 July West Middlesex University Hospital will be hosting an Imagine a Healthy London roadshow.

On Monday 7 July West Middlesex University Hospital will be hosting an Imagine a Healthy London roadshow.

This summer the London Health Commission (LHC) is visiting every London borough with their Imagine Healthy London roadshow.   At the market stall-style stand the LHC is asking Londoners for their ideas for improving health in the capital by imagining a healthy London.  At the roadshow the LHC will be talking about some of the health issues that are important in London, such as childhood obesity, and asking Londoners to suggest their solutions.

The roadshows are a chance for Londoners to add their voices to the recommendations the LHC makes to the Mayor of London in the autumn.  The LHC is keen to hear from as many patients, visitors and hospital staff as possible so please do stop by their stand.  All respondents are entered into a prize draw to win a free Abel & Cole fruit and veg box subscription, and you’ll be able to munch on a selection of fruit while you complete the short survey.

So drop by to West Middlesex University Hospital on Monday 7 July between 9.00am and 12.00pm and have your say.

Can’t make it to the stand? Imagine a healthy London online…

Visit the Talk London community to take the same quick polls being discussed at the roadshows, or tell the LHC what you think in a range of health related discussion forums.
