West Mid raises money for Macmillan Cancer Support

Staff, volunteers and visitors at West Middlesex University Hospital have raised £493 hosting a ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ event for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The hospital’s atrium was buzzing earlier today with people keen to give cash and tuck into tempting treats that had been kindly donated.

Macmillan Cancer & Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist Jacquei Scott was leading the event and helping out on the stall. She said: “Thank you to everyone who contributed and came along to support the coffee morning. Macmillan does such valuable work, and helps fund a number of specialist nursing posts at the hospital so we are always keen to help them whenever we can.”
