‘Who do you think WE are?’—help us to develop our values

19 January 2012

We want staff, patients and anyone else with an interest in Chelsea and Westminster to help us develop our values.

We want staff, patients and anyone else with an interest in Chelsea and Westminster to help us develop our values.

‘Who do you think WE are?’ aims to help define what patients should expect from staff at Chelsea and Westminster and how staff can work together to meet those expectations.

Following a period of consultation with the Council of Governors—which includes elected representatives of patients, members of the public and staff—and the Board of Directors, a ‘longlist’ of 30 values has been whittled down to a shortlist of 12.

Now we want you to vote for the final list of 4 values that exemplify what Chelsea and Westminster means to you.

Chief Executive Heather Lawrence says: “The key to improving the experience of patients at our hospital is for all staff to understand the values of our organisation and what behaviours we expect from our staff to ensure that we uphold these values—so that in turn, patients know what they should expect from us.

“I would encourage all staff, patients, and anyone else with an interest in what goes on at Chelsea and Westminster to get involved.”
