NHS Heroes—your chance to nominate Chelsea and Westminster staff

A new awards scheme has been launched to recognise the great work that individual members of staff and teams do every day in the NHS in England.

NHS Heroes is your chance to nominate someone who always goes the extra mile to provide exceptional care to ensure that patients receive the very best treatment.

Sir David Nicholson, Chief Executive of the NHS, says: “I am sure you do not need reminding that there are a vast number of amazing people throughout the NHS who are doing great things every single day.

“NHS Heroes is a celebration of care at its very best. We are encouraging staff, patients and their families to nominate their own personal NHS heroes.

“It will recognise the efforts of local staff whose expertise, passion for care, concern and everyday kindness indelibly touches the lives of patients and their families.”
