Foundation Trust members invited to 2 free health events in November

Members of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are invited to the latest in our series of free health events for Foundation Trust members—‘Medicine for Members’.

Due to the popularity of these events, 2 seminars on topics of interest will be held in November.

Early booking is advisable.

Diabetes seminar

Wednesday 14 November

Dr Michael Feher (Consultant in Diabetes & Clinical Pharmacology) will be our keynote speaker at this seminar which is taking place on World Diabetes Day.

Dr Feher will be joined by a specialist nurse and a dietitian from the Beta Cell Diabetes Centre which is based in the new Lower Ground Floor Outpatients Department at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

It will be held at 5:30pm on Wednesday 14 November in the Postgraduate Lecture Theatre on the Lower Ground Floor of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, 369 Fulham Road, SW10 9NH.

Dementia seminar

Wednesday 21 November

When we held a dementia seminar earlier this year, it proved so popular that we are repeating it—priority booking has been given to members who wanted to come to the seminar in May but who we were unable to accommodate because the event was full. However, a limited number of places are still available.

The keynote speakers are Dr Richard Morgan (Consultant Physician, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital) and Dr Claudia Wald (Consultant Psychiatrist, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster Memory Services).

Come along to hear our experts talk about advances in the identification and treatment of dementia, as well as the services and support available for patients and carers.

It will be held at 5:30pm on Wednesday 21 November in the Postgraduate Lecture Theatre on the Lower Ground Floor of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, 369 Fulham Road, SW10 9NH.

Numbers are strictly limited so Foundation Trust members are advised to book early.
