Director of Research & Development shortlisted for top award

Professor Derek Bell, Director of Research & Development at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.

Professor Bell is in the running to win the ‘NHS Quality Champion of the Year’ category of the NHS Leadership Recognition Awards 2012.

He is also Director of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) for Northwest London.

The winners of the NHS Leadership Recognition Awards will be announced at an awards ceremony on 10 December.
