28 January 2011

The first patients will move into a brand new outpatient area at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on Monday 31 January.

The first patients will move into a brand new outpatient area at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on Monday 31 January.
Work started in August 2010 to redevelop a large area of the lower ground floor of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital to accommodate outpatient services previously based in Outpatients 1 on the first floor and in the Beta Cell Diabetes Centre on the second floor.

The Beta Cell Diabetes Centre will move into the new space on Monday 31 January with the remainder of those outpatient services to follow in March or early April.

The new outpatient area on the lower ground floor is part of the first major redevelopment of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital since it opened in 1993.
