Gold! New sexual health service launched for transgender community

A new dedicated sexual health service for the transgender community, the Gold Service, has been launched by our West London Centre for Sexual Health in collaboration with the Gender Identity Clinic in Hammersmith.

A new dedicated sexual health service for the transgender community, the Gold Service, has been launched by our West London Centre for Sexual Health in collaboration with the Gender Identity Clinic in Hammersmith.

This new service, which is completely free and confidential, includes:

  • Screening for sexual infections
  • Same day HIV result (results available in less than 1 hour)
  • Hepatitis B testing and vaccination
  • Hepatitis C testing
  • Cervical cytology
  • Safer sex advice, free condoms and lubricant
  • Results by telephone or text

Appointments take place both at the Gender Identity Clinic—located at 179–183 Fulham Palace Road, W6 8QZ (above the Sainsbury’s Local supermarket)—on the third Wednesday of every month from 1:30–4pm (the next clinic is on 15 June) and at the West London Centre for Sexual Health, Charing Cross Hospital, Fulham Palace Road, W6 8RF.
