Trust team wins top award

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust received the award for 'Most effective benefits strategy' at the HR Excellence Awards 2010, held on 29 June.
The Trust was recognised for its alternative strategy that aims to benefit and retain staff and improve their work-life balance, while saving the Trust money.
Initiatives in the award-winning package include a cycle-to-work scheme, childcare vouchers, pensions advice and a well-being programme that provides on-site physiotherapy, stress management training, lifestyle coaching and well-being days.
The scheme has so far saved the Trust £44,000.
