New community dermatology service launched in Kensington and Chelsea

20 September 2010

Chelsea and Westminster is launching a new community dermatology service in Kensington and Chelsea on Monday 4 October.

The service, which was commissioned by NHS Kensington and Chelsea following a competitive bidding process, means that patients will benefit from the expertise of the hospital’s specialist staff in a setting which is closer to their home and more convenient.

It is being provided initially on a single site—St Charles’ Centre for Health and Wellbeing in North Kensington—but it will also be provided at the Om Sai Medical Centre near Earl’s Court station from early 2011.

This is the latest of a growing number of services being provided by Chelsea and Westminster in the community.
