This independent assessment of our stroke services provides added weight to the Trust’s bid to be designated as a specialist ‘hyper acute’ stroke unit (HASU) as well as a local stroke unit.
Healthcare for London’s three-month public consultation about major trauma and stroke services in the London ended on Friday 8 May—a decision about which hospitals will be designated as HASUs is expected in July.
