Council of Governors elections—statement of candidates published

The list of candidates who have nominated themselves to stand for election to the Council of Governors in November’s elections has now been published.

The list of candidates who have nominated themselves to stand for election to the Council of Governors in November’s elections has now been published.

Elections are being held in the following constituencies of the Council of Governors:

  • Public governors
    City of Westminster—2 seats
    London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham—1 seat
    Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea—1 seat
    London Borough of Wandsworth—1 seat
  • Staff governors
    Allied Health Professionals, Scientific and Technical Class—1 seat
    Support, Administrative and Clerical Class—1 seat

Members registered in these constituencies were invited to nominate themselves to stand for election. The deadline for Foundation Trust members to nominate themselves for election was Thursday, 20 October 2016.

If you are a Foundation Trust member registered in these constituencies, you can have your say on the future of your hospital when ballot papers are posted on 8 November 2016. Completed ballot papers must be received by the Returning Officer (Ciara Norris, Electoral Reform Services Limited, The Election Centre, 33 Clarendon Road, London N8 0NW) by the close of poll, 5pm on 29 November 2016. Voting is by post or online. Election results will be published on this website on 30 November 2016.
