The charity, which was established in 2005, funds projects which have an immediate and demonstrable positive impact upon the health, welfare and educational prospects of young people and adults. Support is provided through fundraising and grant-giving to organisations that fulfil their charitable objectives.

Path to Success’ flagship campaign “60 for 60” Wheelchair Appeal aims to provide 60 wheelchairs for 60 NHS hospitals in England to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The charity has been able to donate 48 wheelchairs since January 2012 and has raised funds for another 40 to be donated to NHS Hospitals by end of this year.

Anita Choudhrie, founder of Path to Success, says: “We are aware of the great work that the NHS is doing to help cover patients’ requirements across the UK and we wanted to collaborate with hospitals and help some patients by providing these wheelchairs.”

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital has received the donated bariatric wheelchair and greatly appreciates this generous donation. The hospital is a centre of excellence in the field of bariatric (weight loss) surgery.
