Get involved

A driving force behind NHS Foundation Trusts is the active participation of local members of the public, patients and staff through our membership and their elected representatives on the Council of Governors.

By becoming a member of the trust, you will play a vital role in the way we develop our services. You can choose to get involved as much or as little as you like. You can just receive regular information about the trust’s plans and progress or you can:

  • Vote in the Council of Governors elections
  • Stand for election to the Council of Governors
  • Take part in developing and improving services.

You can become a patient member if you are 16 or older and have been a patient or carer at one of our hospitals in the past three years.

You can become a public member if you are 16 or older and live in one of the following boroughs:

  • City of Westminster
  • London Borough of Ealing
  • London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham
  • London Borough of Hounslow
  • London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
  • London Borough of Wandsworth
  • Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

We want our membership to be representative of the communities we serve.

You can become a member by clicking 'Join online' below. Alternatively, please pick up a leaflet from the PALS office at each of our main hospital sites and send your completed form to:

Membership Engagement Services
The Election Centre
