Hospital Arts
We hope you and your visitors enjoy the many works of art displayed in the hospital. These include many specially commissioned works such as Allen Jones’s Acrobat (at 60 feet tall, the largest indoor sculpture in the world), and Sian Tucker’s mobile Falling Leaves.
As an integral part of the healing arts there are weekly performances—in wards and public places—of music, dance, theatre, mime, puppetry and storytelling. Hospital Arts is entirely funded by donations—none of the visual or performing arts in our hospital have been provided by NHS funds.
